About Guernsey
Although
Guernsey is geographically much closer to France
than the UK,
it is loyal to the British Crown. Many of the road names and places are in
French and a relaxed continental atmosphere runs through the cobbled streets
and bustling cafes.
The
picturesque harbour is visited by yachts and cruise ships and is often used as
the starting point of adventure to the smaller islands in the Bailiwick, with
Herm and Sark being firm favourites.
Accommodation
in Guernsey is varied and appeals to all
tastes. Many enjoy the outdoor experience of camping, whilst others prefer the
luxuries that five star hotels can provide.
Seeing
Guernsey is essential. A tour, guided by our
accredited tour drivers, will take in the scenic West Coast, stop at Pleinmont,
the world famous Little Chapel and visit local crafts along the way. The tour
will also let you discover the rich history of the Island
More
information about the island is available at the Visit Guernsey website.
