MEET OUR TEAM
Hannah joined the family business in February 2003 as Managing Director. She trained as a chartered accountant with Ernst and Young in Guernsey, before gaining further experience in private banking.
Hannah has a keen interest in the arts, running a choir at Guernsey Youth and Community Theatre and volunteering for the Guernsey Eisteddfod. She can often be heard on Keys 2 in the pit of local musical theatre productions.
Toby joined the family business in September 2000. His responsibilities include the IT of the business. Previously he worked for Aurigny in several roles, including cabin staff.
Outside work, he can be seen performing with JnT, an acoustic duo and is the locum for The Ketones. He has his own recording studio.
Workshop General Manager
Neil asked us to store his tool box in our workshop whilst he looked for new employment. We suggested that he did some temporary work for us whilst he looked elsewhere and thankfully, he has never left. He is responsible for our commercial garage, which trades under the branding IC Commercials. He has extensive experience in commercial vehicle mechanics, serving his apprenticeship with Guernseybus Limited and working for Bougourd Ford.
Outside of work, Neil has a busy family life and a keen interest in local politics.
The driving force behind all the operations is manager Sue. Originally from Durham, Sue joined the company in 2009 as a Bus driver when Island Coachways ran Guernsey’s local bus service. She then progressed as a tour coach driver before becoming assistant manager in the office. Her knowledge and experience in this field has led her to her current role as Operations Manager when she was promoted once again in 2014. Sue currently holds the company’s record for the lowest number of faults on a Category D manual driving test.
When Sue isn’t hard at work in the office she enjoys socialising with family and friends and travelling.
Ian is the newest member of the operations team joining us early on in 2018, before the launch of our 'Guernsey Explorer'.
Tech savy, Ian helps provide support in the running of our computer technology and finds new initiative ways to improve our systems. As well as being a computer wizard, Ian supports the operations manager in the day to day running of the office and will be able to help you with any enquiries and bookings.
LAUREN DE JERSEY
Lauren originally joined the coachways team in July 2015 as Sues assistant whilst also studying at Southampton Solent University. After gaining her degree in design, Lauren has stayed on to offer her creative flair on our marketing and online media. She is also part of the sales team along with Ian, looking after clients, bookings and enquires. This summer she will also be working as a representative for Saga Holidays.
