Commercial Vehicle Mechanic

Mechanic Wrench

Full Time

Island Coachways are looking to recruit a qualified commercial vehicle technician to join their busy workshop.

​

As well as servicing and maintaining our own fleet of coaches and minibuses, we also have a number of external customers.

The ideal candidate will have completed their City and Guilds Level 3 Motor Vehicle. 

We would also welcome applicants who are qualified by experience or part way through their training at the College of Further Education.

​

In addition, our ideal candidate will hold Category C and Category D driving licences to allow test drives.  If you do not hold these licences, a willingness to train and take these tests is essential.

Apprentice Vehicle Mechanic

Island Coachways is recruiting for an apprentice mechanic. This is a fantastic opportunity to earn as you learn.

If you have basic numeracy and literacy skills with an interest in working on a wide range of vehicles, we want to hear from you.

Part Time Coach Driver

Island Coachways Limited is looking for a part-time coach driver to join its team.

We offer a range of flexible shift patterns and hours to support your work-life balance. When applying, please state your availability/preference for working hours.

​We are looking for customer-focused, flexible drivers with a positive, professional attitude! We would love to hear from you if you:

  • Are at least 18 years of age

  • Hold a category D1 (Manual) licence with PSV or Category D.

  • Can successfully apply for a Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) certificate

  • Love dealing with people

  • Are of smart and professional appearance

  • Have a patient, safe and courteous approach to driving
