DISCOVER OUR ISLAND

Discover the charm and character of our beautiful island and join our island drive where you'll learn more on Guernseys heritage, history and traditions.

This 90 minute island drive has been designed for day-trippers and is timetabled to coincide with cruise liner calls into St Peter Port, Guernsey.  It is shorter than the traditional half day tour to allow time to explore the rest of the island at your own pace. The drive will commence from Stand A at the bus terminus, close to the Albert Pier where the cruise liner tenders disembark.  The coach will head north and will make a photo stop at Pembroke Bay.  From there, you will drive along the West Coast, passing Vazon Bay and Cobo Bay.  The vehicle turns inland to take in the spectacular views at the local reservoir.

You will then have the opportunity to explore The Little Chapel. Originally built in 1914, the chapel is known for being one of the smallest in the world and is decorated beautifully in broken china, shells and pebbles. The Little Chapel features in the book “The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Society”. Our driver will then take you for a trip through the parishes of St Andrews and St Martins where you will travel down the Val de Terres before finishing back at the terminus.

Throughout the drive, there will be a pre-recorded commentary in English provided by Guernsey born actor, Tigger Blaize. Join us and you will hear about the history, heritage and culture of our beautiful island.
