Island Coachways – Quality Service Delivered Safely.

Island Coachways is a family owned Guernsey business that has been trading for over 30 years.  We operate a large fleet of coaches and transport vehicles, comprising of 13 coaches (ranging from 16 to 43 seats) and 41 buses, along with a private hire car. We currently employ over 100 staff.

The company was formed in 1979 – specifically to cater for groups of students travelling to the island for educational holidays.  We have extensive experience of providing quality transportation for groups of all sizes.

We also provide coach tours, the island’s bus service, corporate events and weddings.

Shortlisted for the 2006 Route One Operator Training Award and winner of the 2006 Route One Accessible Bus Operator Award, the company’s values are based on quality, service and customer care.

We are extremely proud to have made the short list twice for the Guernsey Awards for Achievement Excellence in Training Award.

On Sunday 7 March 2010, we will be launching the new Ormer Card.  We will be introducing new ticketing machines on Sunday 28 February 2010.  Our drivers will be asking any cash customers their full journey details so that we can record that information. 

As a thank you to our loyal customers, the Environment Department have agreed to a free bus week from Sunday 28 February 2010.  Try out our extensive Winter Sunday services or commute to work by bus for free.

From Sunday 7 March 2010, we will no longer be able to use your "Wave and Save" multi-journey cards.  We are able to transfer unused journeys from "Wave and Save" cards onto Ormer cards from 28 February 2010 onwards.
